ABOUT THE ROLE
Precision Freight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in logistics.
In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with shipment tracking, customer communication, carrier coordination, transportation systems and day to day freight operations while working closely with experienced Account Executives and Carrier Sales Coordinators.
The Transportation Coordinator plays an important role in keeping shipments organized, customers informed, and transportation operations running smoothly while building the foundation for future advancement within Precision Freight.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Monitor active shipments and update statuses throughout the transportation process.
Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers and warehouses regarding shipment updates.
Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries.
Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation within the TMS.
Support Account Executives and Carrier Sales Coordinators with day-to-day operational tasks.
Help identify issues quickly and work with the team to resolve them.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a customer service mindset.

Comfort with Microsoft Office, email and general computer systems.
